If today was the last...
The one thing I think we all have realized during this unprecedented time is how much the people in our lives really matter. It also makes it even more evident the ones who shouldn’t be part of our lives, who simply dampen our spirit and bring us down. Sometimes pandemics force us to make the changes we’ve been holding off on, for so long, because we are forced to sit still and can no longer deny the truth… I am truly so grateful for everything in my life. I have lived a life of many. There is nothing else I could ask for, if tomorrow was my last day, except more time with my children and the people I love. That is what matters. The people we love. We can survive without restaurants and sporting events. We can survive without cars and the million other things we used to believe we needed. What matters is each other. Thank you all so much for the overwhelming birthday love sent my way today, messages, texts, phone calls, emails. Even my plumber called me. Today was the best birthday ever because my “present” was the present. xo
