The Playroom - Setting Up the Room

The Playroom - Setting Up the Room

To small children, the world feels very big. This is why we create learning areas and set up play spaces just their size.

Everything in a playroom should be able to be touched and used, and within reach for a child.

Things should be child-sized (other than universal items like measuring cups or plastic Tupperware containers), that can be used at any age. Even scissors come in different sizes because a child’s small hands cannot operate adult-sized ones!

The paperback version of Create a Home of Learning is available at Amazon, your favorite bookseller or jodidee.com
