We all push each other buttons… sometimes just by existing…

We all push each other buttons… sometimes just by existing…

We all push each other’s buttons. Often it’s intentional, like a child trying to get attention, but often it’s not. Sometimes just by existing and who we are we trigger something in another that is broken within them… or they trigger something broken within us. If you find yourself irritated or affected by someone else’s behavior, there is something you need to heal… or something you need to change. It is not their fault or responsibility, no matter what is being done. We attract and get caught in patterns with others because we live in a world of blame rather than responsibility. We want things outside of us to fulfill or make us happy. And if they aren’t doing that, we get triggered. However, if we paid attention and confronted the triggers, we could heal what is within us, and no longer attract or find our buttons being pushed… © Jodi Healy
